  • Assisting in relation to the affordable, community and housing sector and acting for providers in relation to retirement village and aged care services
  • Providing advice on the real property aspects of mergers and acquisitions
  • Undertaking and advising vendors and purchasers in relation to property related due diligence investigations
  • Acting for landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of commercial leases, including documentation of incentive arrangements, subleases, licences and lease assignments
  • Acting for landlords and tenants in relation to lease disputes
  • Providing advice on the real property aspects of matters relating to wills and trusts law
  • Advice in relation to property related taxes particularly land tax and stamp duty assessment and exemption
  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating easements over land
  • High level advice in relation to development applications, planning law and environmental law and contamination

  • Acting for a disability provider in relation to the establishment of specialist disability accommodation facility
  • Advising a charity on the sale by competitive tender of a re-zoned commercial site
  • Advising the vendor in relation to the disposal of a large portfolio of disability accommodation assets
  • Assisting numerous independent schools in relation to the acquisition of adjoining land for the purpose of future expansion
  • Assisting a charity with the structuring and documentation of receipt of a gift of a major real property asset
  • Assisting a charity in a dispute with a landlord regarding non-disclosure during lease negotiations of the contaminated status of the land
  • Assisting charities with shared use arrangements of commercial leased premises including drafting sublease and licence arrangements, and assisting numerous churches with licensing arrangements of Church assets
